Biography
LUO Yanchen (罗晏宸)
LUO Yanchen is currently a Research Assistant Professor with the
Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DSAI)
at
The Hong Kong Polytechnic University,
under the supervision of
Prof. Jian Huang.
Before that, he was a Ph.D. student at the
School of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science,
University of Science and Technology of China (USTC),
supervised by
Prof. Xiangnan He
and
Prof. Xiang Wang,
where he also received his B.Sc. degree from the
School of the Gifted Young.
His current research focuses on AI4Science, Agent4Science, and AI4Science Safety, including foundation
and generative models for molecules and proteins, autonomous scientific agents for hypothesis generation
and experiment planning, and robust, uncertainty-aware deployment of scientific AI systems.
